Goodness so very sad I went to school with Patty from Garfield Elementary After High School we lived in the same neighborhood spent lots of wonderful times in my favorite Stone House on Mahantongo Street. To the Ebling and Derbes family; I am at a loss for words. After not seeing Patty for a long time, I ran into her at the Giant here in Reading. We spoke for a while and she was still the sweet person I remember from high school. I even told her how great she looked. Her sudden passing comes as a shock. I am so sorry for your loss of such a great lady. My sincere condolences.

I was shocked when I received the news of Patty's passing. I had the pleasure to meet and work with Patty many years ago. Our paths crossed again when I joined Trinity Lutheran Church. She always made me feel welcome. It was nice to see a familiar face when I joined the church. She was a special person with a big warm heart. Patty will truly be missed. I will always remember Patty as that little girl ,way back when, who moved into the neighborhood and introduced herself to all of the neighbor kids with a tin of home made chocolate cookies.
